The Illusion of Checks and Balances: A Critique of Modern Governance

This Forum is for all the reveals that happened during the "COVID EVENT" which revealed the truth about how the government actually operates, versus the claim about how the Government operates. So many truths, long suspected, were proven to be true all along. Let's explore.

The Illusion of Checks and Balances: A Critique of Modern Governance
The Intertwined Corruption of the Government and the Courts
Introduction

The modern system of governance, ostensibly built on principles of checks and balances, operates as a self-serving mechanism that shields government overreach from true accountability. I’ve observed that the courts have yet to correct a single instance of government behavior that involved overreach, caused harm, or destroyed people’s lives. The government has never been forced to admit it was wrong because no court has ever compelled it to do so. This lack of judicial correction, combined with the opaque, lawyer-driven nature of legislation, reveals a system that is not designed to serve the people, but to control them—a giant psychological operation and a control structure.

The Courts: The Government’s Cover
The primary issue is the courts’ inherent alignment with the government. The simple truth is that the courts are the government's courts, not the people's. This loyalty is structurally incentivized because the government pays the courts; all federal courts' money flows through the federal government. Why would the courts bite the hand that feeds them? This provides a powerful incentive for the courts to constantly side with the government, whether or not they consciously acknowledge this dynamic.

Deferral to "Science" Without Scrutiny
During the COVID-19 era, a distinct pattern emerged in judicial decisions concerning government behavior: the government always defers to "the science," but the courts never actually examine the science. There has been no case where a challenger was able to bring forward evidence to contest the government’s scientific claims. Instead, the courts simply take the government's word on the science, no matter how much evidence exists to contradict the "fake science" the government promotes. As a result, individuals are denied a fair hearing on the merits, where they could cross-examine state witnesses or the material used to justify the restrictions.

The Incestuous Legal-Political Nexus
Beneath the surface level of financial dependency, the connection between the government and the legal system is even more entrenched and murky. There is an incestuous relationship between lawyers, judges, and politicians. Many lawyers become judges, and many lawyers become politicians or become entwined in politics. This interplay is necessary because the drafting of government legislation requires teams of specialists—lawyers with a special legal mind—to manage the many drafts, special clauses, and enactments. This connective tissue ensures that the legal system is always staffed by those who are part of the political structure.

Inaccessible and Illegible Legislation
The way legislation is drafted makes it nearly illegible to the average person, and often to the politicians who vote on it. Bills often have one title but are half filled with amendments to 50 to 100 other statutes. A bill ostensibly about a "health protection act" may spend the second half amending paragraphs across dozens of existing acts. To truly understand what’s being changed, one would have to look up every referenced act, a task so time-consuming that it’s almost impossible. This process is like a "Windows update" for the legal system, where tiny, incremental changes are spread across the entire body of law, making it nearly impossible to track.

Political Theater and Public Complacency
The debates and speeches in Parliament, such as in the Canadian context, are not genuine debate but scripted spectacle and theater. They are made-for-TV moments designed to generate sound bites for social media, playing a predetermined role to move the "magical dial" of public opinion. This theater is part of a machine that generates the appearance of public opinion. The system banks on the fact that most people are not "cognizantly aware" of how the system works and are too preoccupied with daily survival to pay attention. Due to years of government propaganda via government schools, the average person is a follower—a lemming with a false ego who is actually a slave to the system. Their inaction is rooted in a fear of leaving their "comfy zone" to deal with reality and make their life better.

Conclusion
The pervasive influence of the government on the courts, the avoidance of true scientific scrutiny, the closed-loop of the legal-political professional class, and the deliberate obfuscation of legislation all point to a system that is functioning exactly as it's designed to: to control and manage the populace while generating a convincing performance of democratic accountability. Until people recognize that the system is theater, engineered to prevent true accountability for government overreach and harm, they will continue to be swayed by media-driven sound bites and remain trapped in a self-imposed state of ignorance and complacency.
