Consider the fact that lawyers are said to "practice" law. In common English, if you are practicing for a race, you are not actually racing. This linguistic game is hidden in plain sight: legal professionals are playing a scripted game of pretend, promoting a system engineered for control rather than true justice.

When a case goes to trial today, the public believes a judge operates with divine wisdom to execute pure justice. In reality, the judge is a glorified, neutral scale-watcher whose only job is to weigh the evidence explicitly brought to the docket by the plaintiff and the defendant.
