Will the cult of crypto ever learn? The stock market is already bad enough, resting on an mythology of “fundamentals” supposedly tied to corporate performance, growth narratives, and speculative future value. Even there, prices are detached from reality.

Bitcoin takes this detachment to an entirely different level. It doesn’t even pretend to anchor itself to productive activity, social utility, or coherent economic function. It operates almost entirely on abstracted vibes…..hype cycles, meme logic, tribal belief, and a rotating cast of half-formed, belligerently defended theories about future applications that are always just around the corner and never actually arrive.

What’s sold as inevitability is really repetition and cyclical manipulation…. the same promises are endlessly reheated, poorly thought through, and insulated from falsification by faith and sunk-cost psychology. No meaningful adoption emerges, no structural problem is solved, yet the narrative self interested propaganda persists as if repetition by economic illiterates itself were proof.
